The unlock process is underway amid the Corona virus epidemic. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued guidelines on Saturday for Unlock 4 starting on September 1. According to the guidelines, no state government and UT can impose any kind of lock down on their behalf. Also, no permission will be required to go from one state to another. From September 7, metro services will be opened in a phased manner.
However, in view of the increasing cases of Corona, it has been decided to keep schools and colleges closed till 30 September 2020. During this, education will be done through online classes. According to the latest guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, 100 people have been allowed to participate in other events including social, political and religious.
However the use of masks, social distancing, thermal screening and sanitizers will be mandatory. Cinema halls, swimming pools, international flights (except for a few special cases) will still remain closed. At the same time, students from 9th to 12th class outside the Containment Zone will be able to go to school to meet the teachers after the consent of their family.
